Here’s what teachers from our pilot program said:
I love the “radio” (text to speech) feature and expect to use it with my 3rd graders and especially low readers.............excellent feature!
Perry Verge, Wakefield, MA
I teach lots of lessons using online newspapers, but I really liked the fact that the e-edition looked like a newspaper. Students enjoyed "flipping" through the pages online, and they liked the hook of the computer better than a regular newspaper.
Susan Dowd, Oliver School
The e-editions were great for my students who came in early and could start a "Do Now" project upon entering class. I had a few generic questions that could be applicable for sports for the week, as well as a worksheet for the weekly weather. Self-pacing was a welcome tool for my students and once they got familiarized with accessing the sections, they could work independently...something they and I appreciated.
Karen Prussing, Charlestown High School
I love showing the paper and/or article(s) via the projector. I can "write" and mark up the article(s) on screen.
Jay Vaillancourt, Fall River, MA
