The Lost Dispatch
Victoria Johnson and some of her 6th grade classmates are learning about history by reliving it. By participating in a re-enactment of the Battle of Perryville, they are learning firsthand what life was like for a soldier in 1860.   While preparing for her role, Victoria uncovers a mystery about a missing message to a Confederate general that could have changed the outcome of the battle, and the war. A teacher's guide aligned to National History standards is included with this 10 week series. Grades 4-8
